As an artist residing in the coastal town of Batehaven Australia, my work passionately explores the intricate interplay between environment, object, and human presence. Through the medium of oil painting, I seek to encapsulate the delicate details that often go unnoticed in everyday – the quiet elegance of an empty ornate chair set against a vast landscape or the intimate vibrance of a families’ shared moments at the beach

 

My artistic practice is deeply rooted in a fascination with the stories that spaces and objects silently convey, whether it is the subtle intricacies of a tablescape or the nuanced interplay of light within an interior. Through my work, I aspire to create a dialogue between the viewer and the canvas encouraging an exploration of the emotions and memories that these scenes evoke.
