As an artist residing in the coastal town of Batehaven, Australia, my work passionately explores the intricate interplay between environment, object, and human presence. Through the medium of oil painting, I seek to encapsulate the delicate details that often go unnoticed in the everyday: the quiet elegance of an empty ornate chair set against a vast landscape, or the intimate vibrance of a families’ shared moments at the beach.

 

My practice is deeply rooted in a fascination with the stories that spaces and objects silently convey. Whether it's the subtle intricacies of a tablescape, or the nuanced interplay of light within an interior. Through my work I aspire to create a dialogue between the viewer and the canvas, encouraging an exploration of emotions and memories that these scenes evoke.
